  5. FretPet is a guitar player's musical toy, allowing you to:

  7.     1. Build chords from scales
  8.     2. Generate chord harmonies
  9.     3. Assign names to chords on the guitar neck or piano keyboard
  10.     4. Create and save chord progressions and sequences
  11.     5. Visually analyze chords based on tonal relationships
  12.     6. Play songs through QuickTime or MIDI output
  13.  
  14. If you've used other guitar-oriented shareware programs then you
  15. already know how dry, boring, and poorly designed they usually are.
  16. FretPet seeks to remedy this situation by actually being fun to use.

  42. FretPet Beta 3 is not limited in any way.  There are no
  43. nagging messages reminding you to register.  According
  44. to a recent scientific study this means there is 80% less
  45. probability that you will pay because I haven't followed
  46. any of these measures.  Let's see if statistical probability
  47. wins over our shared love of Macs and music.

  49. FretPet has the following pricing:

  51. $  15 each for 1- 10 Single User Licenses
  52. $  10 each for 11 or more Single User Licenses
  53. $200 each for Site Licenses
  54.  
  55. Don't buy 7, 8, or 9 licenses.  It's cheaper to buy 10.
  56.  
  57. A Site License costs $200 (equivalent to 20 single users) and covers all
  58. locations for your organization within a 160 kilometer radius of your site
  59. (100 miles). One big advantage of a Site License is that you do not need to
  60. keep track of how many people at your site are using the software.   A
  61. World-Wide License costs $400 and it covers all locations for your
  62. organization on Earth.

  64. Kagi handles my payment processing so paying for FretPet is a snap. Open
  65. the Register program that accompanies FretPet. Enter your name, your
  66. email address, and the number and type of user licenses you need. Save,
  67. Copy, or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and
  68. payment to Kagi.

  70. If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to
  71. Kagi. Their email address is <mailto:sales@kagi.com>.  Their fax number is
  72. +1 (510) 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from Register and paste
  73. into the body of an email message or you can Save the data to a file and you
  74. can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to compress the
  75. data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the
  76. data to the Kagi fax number.

  78. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive
  79. an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take
  80. up to 10 days.  If you provide a correct internet email address you will
  81. receive an email acknowledgement.
